December 2023's Mindfulness Monday: Working Skillfully with Emotions
We will meet for our final Mindfulness Mondays of 2023 (and for the foreseeable future) on Monday December 11, 2023 in the Zoom Room from 7-8 PM ET.
In this session, we will discuss
how mindfulness serves to rebuild our relationships with our emotional
landscape, try on an approach called RAIN in guided meditation, and
share our reflections as a group. There will be a short talk, a guided
meditation, and time for reflection and Q&A. Trauma-sensitive
guidance is offered throughout. Drop-in classes support beginners to
meditation and also those looking to deepen their practice—ALL are
welcome! Register here and a Zoom link will be sent closer to the date.
This
class is offered in the Buddhist dana tradition. $10 USD is suggested
as the exchange for my energy, skill and time (Venmo @alyssahchase or
email to arrange), or you may give whatever feels supportive to you, and
no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
